If you didn’t see last night’s episode of The Office then you might not wanna read this.
Last night was my favorite episode of the season. Pam finally found her voice and I keep watching it over and over and over again. Just those 2 or 3 minutes where she tells it like it is. Pam is my hero right now. And about 2.378% of me is harboring this glimmer of hope that this means Jam will be on by next week’s season finale episode. However, the other 97.622%* of me thinks Rashida Jones is blowing one of the writers and that’s the only reason she’s still even on the show. I read on one of the spoiler sites that they filmed two different endings for the season finale because there was a chance that a pilot RJ filmed was getting picked up for the fall season. If it got picked up then Jam was on but if it didn’t then it’s another Jaren season and The Office will be minus one malcontent viewer. If that’s true, then she must be doing all of the writers because I don’t really think she’s that instrumental to the cast that they would change the storyline just to give her a job. She must be naked on all fours underneath a blinking neon sign that says “COCKWHORE-SLUTBAG DOES ANYTHING FOR A LINE” in between scenes.
* I had to use a calculator to figure that out. You try not sleeping for two days and then doing math in your head, smarty-pants.

I can’t do math in my head on any given day! So, if you can do it when you are feeling well and sleeping, then you are the WOMAN!!! lol

oh, BTW – I am a bookkeeper – so, yeah…. How did I end up in this job??? I keep asking myself?

Hahahaha. Yah, and I keep track of my checkbook in my head, too, which is probably why I’m always messing things up.

I too adored last night’s epidsode. Go Pam! However, and you are going to want to punch me for this, I’m not sure if it would be the best decision to have Pam and Jim get together so soon. I know they’ll get together eventually, but once they do that might destroy the show as all the tension will be gone. For me, the tension is part of what makes the show so good. That whole “unrequited love” crap. Can we still be friends? :)

ARGH.
Did you know that John and Rashida used to date in real life?

Andi – only if you take a puppy. Ha! Just kidding :) I see your point, and I concur…but I won’t believe it unless Karen befalls some ridiculous accident in the finale, like a freak warehouse-forklift-decapitation.
Poppy – Like, duh ;) Why do you think I think she’s a total whorebag? The only reason she’s even on that show is because she swallows.

Did any of the writers ever work with X-Files? Because that will tell you right there whether Jim and Pam will ever get together. I haven’t watched any of this season, but I’ve gleaned that they haven’t, despite last season’s oh hell yes it’s in the bag kiss. I’m not gruntled about that.

Poor Kristen :(
I know I’ve asked this before…but can’t you get it on iTunes or is that not allowed by the Canadian Regime?

Ha ha. Sadly, I will not be taking a puppy. We both know my stance on dogs (love them, but don’t actually want to live with or take care of them). And I do love your suggestion of the “accident” that should befall Karen. Perhaps Pam could be behind said “accident”. Of course, that may be a bit of a departure for the show…
And yes, our sad little government up here in Cana-duh does allow iTunes. I have a bitch of a time actually charging my iPod though – not too many spare plug-ins in these here igloos. :)
